Originally from Carlisle, PA, Nicole received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond and a master's degree in social work from University of Maryland, Baltimore. After completing her master's, she started at Johns Hopkins University as a senior administrative coordinator in the Department of Medicine Chairman’s office. From there, she had the opportunity to learn about sponsored projects and moved around the DOM gaining knowledge and experience, eventually landing in the Divisions of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Pharmacology. In 2019, she became the assistant administrator overseeing the sponsored team in those divisions.
