Leading through change with character and integrity, he works to ensure that the healthcare team has the skills and abilities necessary to lead the numerous changes identified by the organization. His areas of focus are on providing executive leadership and strategic thinking around developing growth initiatives, implementing operational and performance improvements, promoting talent development, creating integrated clinical service delivery platforms, advancing quality and safety goals, exceeding patient and employee engagement benchmarks, supporting a culture of trust and respect, and promoting a strong commitment to financial stewardship through coaching, mentoring, and development of critical thinking skills for the team. Michael has served in numerous MGMA leadership roles including the MGMA Board of Directors, ACMPE Certification Commission, and MGMA/ACMPE committees. He is an international speaker on diverse topics including serving leadership. He has an MHA from St. Louis University and is an ACMPE fellow.
