Director of Operations

Jennie Overell, MPA, is the Director of Operations for the Ambulatory Care Network in the Division of Community and Population Health at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She is responsible for providing leadership, management direction and administration of operations for fourteen primary care, seven school based health, fourteen school based mental health, over thirty specialty care sites and multiple programs across Manhattan.
Prior to occupying her current role, Jennie held several leadership roles with hospital-based behavioral health programs at both NewYork-Presbyterian and Mount Sinai/St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals. In her time working with Behavioral Health programs, Jennie had the opportunity to lead research on the effects of warfare on former child soldiers in four countries in West and Central Africa and co-published multiple chapters in the African World Press book Seeds Bearing Fruit.
Jennie has a B.A. in Arts and Sciences from New York University and an M.P.A. in Health Policy and Management from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service.
