Lisa started with Lane County Health and Human Services in November 2016 working in the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). At the time of hire Lisa had over 20 years in Healthcare Administration with a focus on finance and receivables, primarily within the private sector. Working with Lane County was the realization of a long-term goal to provide public service to the community.
Before being named CEO of the Community Health Centers of Lane County (CHCLC) in August 2023, Lisa was the CHCLC CFO and was responsible multi-million dollar budgets, HRSA grant management and reporting, end-to-end management of the FQHC revenue cycle, HRSA compliance, and service and support in financial performance tracking.
Prior to joining Lane County, Lisa worked at Dignity Health Physician Business Services as the Account Receivables Manager of a large multi-specialty medical group. Lisa led a team of 35 employees responsible for all aspects of insurance billing, including coding, credentialing, and follow up. Lisa developed Key Performance Indicator reports for the Executive Leadership Team, created quality and productivity measures, conducted annual reviews and development plans, and implemented a coding certification program to further the professional development of her team.
Previous to her work at Dignity Health, Lisa worked at an Allergy and Immunology clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, as the Billing Manager where she brought billing in-house from a billing service, staffed and trained a billing department, and implemented the electronic practice management system.
